About Coronado.News

Coronado.News is a moderated announcement email listserve, created and maintained by volunteers to share neighborhood and Coronado Neighborhood Association news. It is moderated by CNA members appointed by the Board of Directors. Announcements will meet five guidelines:

  1. be unique to Coronado, or directly impact the neighborhood,
  2. do not defame or use inflammatory language or cast derision on people’s race, religion, sexual orientation, age, sex or political affiliation,
  3. will clearly identify the source of the information either in its header, body, signature or email address,
  4. will use language appropriate for a general audience, and
  5. will not be spam or ‘chain letters’.

Subscribers are welcome to submit Announcements for broadcast that meet the criteria above. Replies to posts will be moderated.

The Moderators do not edit the message in any way. If any part is deemed unacceptable, the entire message will be rejected. Moderators may reply to rejected messages at their discretion.

The Moderators will make every effort to post in a timely manner but do not guarantee any timeline for the approval and subsequent posting of announcements.

Using Coronado.News

To post a message to all the list members, send an email message to coronado.news@gcna.info.

You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
